From biologist to software... I began my professional life as a biologist. My career wasn’t going where I wanted it to and I was a long way from achieving my career goals. Software was a dream I wanted to achieve and the question, “Can a biologist be a software writer?” kept holding me back. If not now, when, I said and I started learning software with Java at the beginning of 2022 at quite a pace. After 7 months of hard work, I got accepted into the Test Automation Bootcamp arranged by Sigortam.net. Bootcamp was a packed 2 months and I was doing test automation development using Python and Java. I passed Bootcamp and began my professional career in the world of software with Kariyer.Net, another iLab company. I want to give huge thanks to techcareer.net, the sigortam.net family, and my instructor Tuğçe Alphan, who worked really hard during my time at Bootcamp and was also my Test Team Manager, for giving me the chance to start this process.

From the assessment stage right through to the Bootcamp final presentation, every moment was a lot of fun and very productive. I learned so much in those 6 packed weeks and got the chance to put it all into practice.
